Global Village Auditions

We made it! Luckily after 4 days of non-stop practice it paid off~

Just a short note~ I can't reveal much because it's supposed to be a surprise for this coming Thursday's Global Village.

In a nutshell, I volunteered to join Sharad to perform in behalf of the IE India Club for the Global Village event happening this Thursday. Global Village is a day in IE where students get to share their culture & diversity with other students. Countries will have their own booths~ with samples of food from their country as well as other information. There will be performances as well... and that's where I come in.

During the past week, I've been staying late over at Dhiresh's house to practice. Last Friday, there were auditions done inside room 103 of MM31. The objective of the audition was to determine who will be performing. There were over 20 people in the room and they essentially had to vote which performances they liked most.

Anyway, to cut a long story short~ we made it. I wasn't sure we'd make it in the beginning because the 2nd group was really good. Fortunately, people liked our energy and song selection (ooops, too much clues perhaps?). Of course, we still need more practice. And that's probably something we'll work on in the next few days.
