Random Things

Awkward pose, wasn't it? Well, that was entirely the point of snapping this photo of this guy at this moment! lol
Well, it's 2:43am and I'm still awake. I was originally thinking of writing 3 separate posts... but the logic didn't make sense to me. Sometimes in life we have days where we do several random things in a day. Well, this was more like a recap of some events that happened within 48 hours~

Finally~ A Mexican restaurant!
Rachel's friend, Nathan, who happens to work in Singapore, happened to be in town for a few days. On Monday I hung out with them after doing my NIE fingerprinting appointment. I couldn't really stay too long because I had rehearsals (darn).

Stefano and Daniela joined in at the restaurant. All I had were two beers (and no food)! Well, now that I know where this place is, I'm so going next time!

Ooooh~ quite colorful and home-y looking interiors. And good food too, might I add!
It was Tuesday, around 8PM. I was walking along Diego de Leon when I suddenly saw Majo at the doorstep of her building. I asked her if the restaurant was good~ she said yes. She went in while I went inside the restaurant.

While I was seated, I noticed a familiar sticker on the door. It was one of those "awarded" restaurants (similar to what I've seen at Mercado de la Reina along Gran Via as well as that brunch place I went to). Interestingly, a number of expatriates also entered the place. They had apparently made reservations. Wow~ I told myself. Seems I got myself into a good place!

Seafood linguine! My two favorite things to eat on this dish were the shrimps and the cherry tomatoes! YUM!

I was pretty torn with what to eat: chicken or pasta. I went with the pasta~ it was pretty good (needed a bit of salt... but then, it was already pretty nice). I would like to come back there again and try other stuff on the menu. I'll surely have excuses to say hello again to Majo or Danella lol. Or maybe any of my classmates who live along Calle Legasca can join me too (guys, if you're reading this, holler!).

Entrepreneurial Management takes center stage once more~
The past few weeks we've been quite busy with midterms as well as other papers and deliverables. My Entrepreneurial Management group has been on the back-burner the entire time. And so~ well, Ulrich, Mariana, Dominik and I decided to meet up. We agreed to meet at least once a week starting this week. This way we can bounce stuff around with one another even more~

We locked ourselves inside the glass room to revisit our original business idea. We discussed tourism for international students once more~ and later itemized what real pain-points they really feel. We'll have a lot of work to do on this one... so expect a lot of posts on this group in the near future!

But anyway, I'm pretty excited to work with this group again. Promising stuff!

Final practice done! Tomorrow is gonna be a really interesting day!!!
The past few nights I've been going home past midnight because of this. And I have to admit, waking up in the morning is soooooo hard. I wish I could sleep more and rest a little bit longer (well, my body is extremely sore from all this practice). But on the lighter side, we're finally done!

It's quite an impressive feat, now that I've had some time to think about it. We barely started a week ago, and now we've managed to pull off something that'll last for 6 minutes. Today's practice session was awesome... and we generally got things done. Tomorrow will totally be fun!

So yes~ that's pretty much it. Pretty random, I know~ Anyway, time to get some rest!!
