Lonely Dinner / Cool Term 2

Around 730pm yesterday, I was feeling hungry... and so I sent a message my class' Whatsapp group to check if anyone was in the area & was interested in having dinner in the next 20 minutes. Nobody replied (I'm such a loser haha).

But anyway, that's life (and how fate would have it). If someone was available, it would've been by chance. But since it didn't happen that way, I didn't feel entirely bad about it. Luckily, they had some pretty nice things available on the counter of Pinch-Arte that evening... hence the photo above! An hour later, Rachel says she's available and we grab some dessert. Instead of possibly spending the next 3 hours studying, we end up talking (a welcome respite from hardcore studying + a redeeming factor of going to dinner solo).

On another note, I just received news on my new Term 2 group mates. It's gonna be an awesome team, especially for Marketing class. We have KS from India, who used to work as a marketing consultant. Then we have Giovanna from Colombia.. who used to work for Nielsen (market research high-five)! Then we have Sterling from New York~ who previously lived in Argentina and used to be a med sales rep for the pharmaceutical industry (this guy has mad presentation skills!). Then we managed to snag Svenja~ an extremely talented McKinsey management consultant from Germany. And of course, Moñtana from Spain~ who is going to be an awesome local expert who is also skilled in IT sales (this is so gonna be useful especially since we have Technology & Innovation Management as a class next term). So yes, I'm feeling really good about this team! It's gonna be a-w-e-s-o-m-e!

Okay, now back to studying~ two more tests to go before this week is over!!
